Wurst 1.1 Beta
released May 8, 2014

WARNING: This old version is vulnerable to the Log4Shell exploit. Do not use this in multiplayer without a patch.

This is the first version of Wurst that was ever made.

Only a week into development, it’s a far cry from the Wurst Client you know and love today. This version has no chat commands and only a handful of features. There is no Alt Manager, keybinds can’t be changed, and even the iconic Wurst logo didn’t exist yet.

I wouldn’t actually recommend this version (Wurst 1.3.1 is much better for Minecraft 1.7.x hacking), but sometimes it’s fun to look back and see just how far Wurst has come since 2014. Wurst 1.1 Beta brings back old memories and feelings of nostalgia every time I that load it up. If you are one of the few people that have been with us since the beginning, it will surely make you feel the same.

GUI

You can open the window-based ClickGUI by pressing Left CTRL.

This version doesn’t save things like enabled hacks and window positions, so you will have to re-arrange the windows and re-enable your hacks every time after restarting Minecraft.

Keybinds

In this ancient version, keybinds cannot be changed. You’re stuck with the default keybinds.

Default Keybinds: (click to expand)
  • F -> FastPlace
  • C -> Fullbright
  • G -> Flight
  • R -> Killaura
  • Left CTRL -> ClickGUI
  • X -> X-Ray
  • Z -> Sneak

Downloads

Note: The original downloads for this version had to be removed because they contained copyrighted code from Minecraft 1.7.2. This is a remake that doesn't contain the copyrighted code. Once installed, this version looks and feels exactly like the original. The only difference is that this version uses a modern Wurst 6 installer and creates a Minecraft launcher profile with a different name.

The installer contains the Wurst Client, but with all of the Minecraft code stripped out. This file would not work on its own, but when you run the installer, it takes your existing Minecraft installation and combines it with this file to create a working Wurst installation. This way, the file you download doesn't actually contain any copyrighted code.

You must have Minecraft 1.7.2 (not 1.7.10) installed in order for the Wurst installer to work. Even if you plan to use Wurst on 1.7.10 servers, it still needs the code from Minecraft 1.7.2 because that's what this Wurst version is based on.

Wurst as a Torrent

This torrent contains all above versions bundled together. Open it in your torrent client to select which version(s) you want to download.

WARNING: Torrenting reveals your IP address to the public. Server owners *could* monitor this torrent and automatically ban IP addresses that have downloaded files from it. Consider torrenting over a VPN or some kind of proxy. (This problem only affects torrents. The "normal" downloads listed above are safe to download without a VPN.)

Installation

Becuase this is a remake, the installation process is the same as Wurst 6. Just make sure that you have Minecraft 1.7.2 (not 1.7.10) installed in order for the Wurst installer to work.

Also, this should be obvious, but you do need to have a licensed copy of Minecraft Java Edition in order to use Wurst. Wurst is a cheat client, not a pirate client.
